In 2007 PACT for Families Collaborative was awarded a 21^st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) grant to provide out of school enrichment activities for children and youth who need extra help to be successful school participants.  The PACT for Families Learning Center project is comprised of eight school districts within the PACT for Families Collaborative service area:  ACGC, Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart, BOLD, Canby, CedarMountain, E.C.H.O. Charter, Eden Valley-Watkins, and Renville County West.  Seven of the eight school districts operate both an elementary and secondary 21^st CCLC site, while one has only a secondary site.  The goals of 21^st CCLC are state mandated and include: increase academic achievement of participating students in one or more academic areas, increase school connectedness of participants, and increase capacity of participants to become productive adults.  The fifteen local 21^st CCLC sites provide quality academic and social enrichment activities to eligible 3^rd – 12^th grade students through before-school and after-school programming during the school year as well as summer programming.
