STANDARD GROUND RULES FOR WRAPAROUND MEETINGS

Adapted From The Wraparound Process: A Practical Guide

for Participants, E. M. Grealish

 PACT for Families Collaborative

1. Let everybody finish what he/she has to say.

2. No blaming, shaming, or name-calling.

3. Maintain a decent tone of voice and reasonable volume.

4. Be civil.

5. If anyone gets angry, he/she can either take a timeout or call a five-minute break.

6. Everything discussed at every meeting is completely private and can’t be discussed anywhere else, with anyone else, without written permission, with the exception of mandated reporting because of abuse or other legal requirement.

7. All team members are to be respected and treated politely.

8. If consensus isn’t reached by other means, a majority vote, with veto power for the consumer, family, and their supporters, will be used to resolve differences of opinion (unless there are legal mandates prohibiting carrying out the decision/action)
