Offender Information

Are you or a member of your family currently involved with the juvenile justice system? If so, circle sentencing is an alternative form of sentencing for youth and families that need ongoing support. Circle sentencing helps young offenders face the real consequences of their actions, recognize how they have harmed others, apologize to their victim, and begin restoring trust in their communities. Through PACT 4 Families Collaborative and the Justice System we can help you make things right in your community. Anyone may make the initial referral to our program.

Testimonials

“I participated in Circle Sentencing for over a year and I found it to be a very positive experience. Circle Sentencing not only showed me how stupid the things I did were, but gave me an incentive not to do them again. I sincerely appreciate everything the Circle members did for me; they volunteered to help on their free time without pay or recognition. Circle was a great experience and I value all that I learned from the community members who participated.”

“I was impressed how the community members were so willing to give their time and how totally supportive they were and encouraging.”  PARENT

“It helped me to improve my relationship with my son. Gave us the opportunity to talk about things and spend time with each other.” PARENT

“It shifted the process from punishment to rehabilitation and responsibility. The healing process that took place for all was what I liked best…that everyone was equal – decisions were made by the group. Also how we took turns speaking with no interruptions. How the community members were so kind, respectful and caring.” PARENT
